Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist uses cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. The localized pressure then increases blood flow within the restricted area. People receive cupping for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and overall well-being. Is used in correlation with deep-tissue massage.
